Thank you so much for your interest in booking a newborn session with me! I am always honored to be a part of your amazing journey to parenthood! I know it can feel overwhelming trying to choose the type of session that works best for you and your family. I am here to walk you through the process.
All sessions take place in the comfort of your own home or studio options available upon request*.

Select your Session Type
I offer two session types: Lifestyle or Lifestyle+Wrapped. Once you have decided which session type works for you we can move forward with getting you booked!
In order to confirm your session a signed contract along with a retainer is required.
As we move closer to your due date, a session prep guide along with wardrobe guide will be sent. Your actual session date will be scheduled once that beautiful baby arrives. A final prep email will be sent and of course, I am here to help guide you as we prepare for your babies debut!

Session Day!
All newborn sessions generally start at 9:30. This is when everyone is a little more refreshed and also helps to make sure baby hasn't had a full day of being overstimulated.
Based on the session type you choose, your session will last between 1.5 - 3.5 hours. That includes breaks to feed baby, diaper/outfit changes, extra time for older sibling shots as well as setup/tear down time for studio style wrapped images.
A newborn session with me is a mix of relaxed, posed and unposed images. Always showing the connection between between parents, siblings and your sweet newborn!

Gallery Reveal
Your private online gallery will be sent to you within two weeks of your session! Depending on the session type you chose you can expect to see between 70 images for lifestyle only and 100+ for Lifestyle+Wrapped.
Now that you have had a chance to fall in love with your images it's time to start selecting your favorites!
Don't worry, if you can't narrow it down there is an option to purchase the full gallery.

You made it!! You welcomed a beautiful baby into the world, started adapting to a new schedule and had an amazing newborn session!
Now comes the fun part...choosing the how to use your print credit and displaying those beautiful memories!

Newborn Session FAQ's
When should I book a newborn session? Sometime within the second trimester is an ideal time to book your session. This will typically ensure availability!
How do I schedule a session when I don't know when the baby will be born? Such a common question! Once you have signed a contract and a paid deposit, I use your due date as a place holder in my calendar. Once the baby arrives we will schedule your actual session date.
What should I wear for a newborn Session? I always suggest neutral clothing. No logos or busy designs. We want all of the attention on the baby!
What do I need for the wrapped images? Absolutely nothing! I get input from you prior to your session on requested colors and props. I provide wraps as close as possible to your requests along with any must have props!
When do newborn sessions take place? Newborn sessions take place within the first two weeks of brining baby home. Sessions generally take place Monday - Friday and are done first thing in the morning as everyone is usually more refreshed!

What COVID-19 safety measured do you take during a newborn session? Along with being fully vaccinated I also wear a mask the entire time I am in your home.
