Beautiful Lifestyle+Wrapped Newborn Session - Pittsburgh

Lifestyle+Wrapped sessions are my most requested session type for newborns. These sessions combine those cozy lifestyle images of you and your family in your home with those adorable studio style wrapped images. This session type was something I knew I needed to do. When I had my second baby I desperately wanted something like this and could not find it (trust me, I spent hours searching). While I absolutely love the images from his newborn session it was missing that lifestyle aspect that I wanted. So now, I bring these sessions to you so you can have the best of both worlds!

What a treat it is to photograph families over and over. I am so thankful for these families that continue to trust me to capture the best parts of their lives! I first met this family just over a year ago for their oldest daughters first birthday session. This sweet girl quickly became a favorite to photograph because she is so smiley and also takes pretty great directions for being so little. Since their first session I have photographed the family two more times and then agains just last week for their beautiful Lifestyle+Wrapped newborn session!

There is no way to predict how babies or even toddlers will be during the sessions. I provide as much prep guidance as possible but it truly is up to the littles in the family on how things will flow. I think the universe knew I have had a slew of not so sleepy/cluster feeding babies since October so it threw me a bone with a super sleepy baby and a mostly cooperative big sister.

We started the session with the full family and we gave big sister breaks when she needed it but I also worked some of her breaks into the shots because they truly gave the lifestyle feel. Big sister wasn't interested in holding the baby and that is completely OK, not all toddlers want to. She was a big fan of holding his hand after she realized that was something we loved seeing so there are a couple of my favorites included.

It is always my goal to get a sneak peek out for families the same day but sometimes it just doesn't happen. So, here are some of my favorites from last weeks session!
