In-Home Newborn Session - Pittsburgh

What a month of newborns it has been! This was definitely the month where I learned my limit but I have to say that even if I was crazy overbooked I would have squeezed this family into my calendar. I first met them a little over two years ago for their first child's newborn session and I feel like I have been a staple in their life ever since!!

What a difference between the first session and the second. Usually when I go into homes that are just welcoming their first child there is a place for everything. For the second (or third or fourth) you see quite a shift in the decor and most of it includes brightly colored toys. That is just how it goes and I have to say that my house is the exact same way. Don't worry, I am a master of shooting around the toys or even moving them so you would have no idea they were even there!

Being a boy mom myself I can't help but have a soft spot for families that enter the boy mom/dad club! So, when I found out that this family was joining this very exclusive club I was so thrilled. Us boy moms absolutely need solidarity that we are not losing our minds and these boys truly are just that wild!

I have seen a wide range of sibling bonds over the last several years. It can vary from the older sibling not wanting anything to do with the new baby or being 100% obsessed. Big brother from this session was in the 100% obsessed category and I don't think I have every shared so many sibling shots in a sneak peek before! While big brother was a little shy at times in front of the camera, a promise of a popsicle and a trip to grandmas (which he invited me to come along) got us some amazing cooperation!

These sneak peeks have taken longer than normal this month but this one is well worth the wait. I will be diligently working on their full gallery next week but in the meantime I hope you enjoy!
