Lifestyle Maternity & Newborn Session

Part of why I love maternity sessions is that it gives me a chance to get to know parents before the baby arrives. It gives me a sense of who they are before they become parents and take on the biggest role of their life!

Olivia and Armin are from Austria and currently in the area for work. Let me tell you, I am sad that they will be heading home eventually but so glad I got to be a part of their journey to becoming parents. Two of the kindest people I have met and so thrilled that I was able capture such a special time in their lives.

Most people assume maternity sessions have to take place outdoors or in a studio. That is definitely not the case. I love the in-home maternity session because its your place of comfort and where your life as a new family will begin.

As you can see from the images, I was able to recreate several of the shots I got during the maternity session. There is something so beautiful in seeing how not much time had passed between the maternity and newborn sessions but how different things are.

They had booked my Lifestyle + Wrapped session so there are some beautiful shots of just the handsome little guy and I am dying over the little tan sweater that Oliva's grandmother knitted!! We also snuck the stuffed bunny into the shot since this little guys arrived on Easter!
