Lifestyle Newborn Session - Pittsburgh, PA

It is not uncommon for me to see families each year...or even multiple times in a year but it is not usually for back to back newborn sessions! I first met this family last February when I did their first son's newborn session. What a surprise (probably more for them than me) when mom reached out this year to schedule another lifestyle newborn session for their newest addition!

Lifestyle newborn sessions always have some level of unpredictability but when you add a 17 month old big brother, we just go with the flow. We had lots of breaks for big brother, lots of animal cracker snacks and LOTS of lifestyle/candid moments.

When I walked into this little guys nursery I saw that it was on the darker side but had a beautiful stream of direct natural light. The best way to use this light was to rearrange the nursery and I am so glad we did! It just shows that you do not have to have a huge space or even multiple spaces and we are able to capture beautiful images.
