Lifestyle+Wrapped Newborn Session - Pittsburgh

Not sure what a Lifestyle+Wrapped newborn session is? Let me help clarify! We do the beautiful lifestyle session using your own home as the backdrop to all of the shots incorporating the full family. For the wrapped session I bring along everything you would find in a studio; props, wraps, lighting, etc. and produce those beautifully cozy wrapped images you love. Simple as that!!

I absolutely love the challenge and variety of shooting in other peoples homes. It is always interesting to see what each scenario will bring. When pulling up to this families home I felt like I was far removed from the city! It was such a great property with a pond (that I later learned they would lounge around in innertubes and a beverage...pre kids of course!), lots of space to roam around and a beautiful home with tons of natural light!

Even with all of the extra light I still had to work with their space and make sure that I was shooting in a direction that would give a great backdrop. Usually this means that I move furniture around and thankfully the family was more than happy to help me re-adjust some of the items in the nursery to make everything work!

Baby boy had a little case of FOMO during the session but we worked with his curiosity. As soon as the lifestyle portion of the session was all set we moved onto the wrapped portion. We had about 50/50 cooperation but were able to get some adorable shots that I am excited to share with you here in a sneak peek.
