Maternity Session in Downtown Pittsburgh

I love maternity sessions! It allows us to get to know each other a little before their newborn sessions which is always a plus.

Summer nights are perfect for any sort of session! But with summer also comes the potential for summer storms so flexibility is key. Before all of my outdoor sessions I watch the weather like a hawk just to get an idea of what we are working with. At 6:50 the night of Stacy & Sean's maternity session we had a chat and it just was not looking good. Grey skies as far as the eye could see so we scrapped the session for that night and moved it to the weekend with prayers and fingers crossed that we would have better luck.

Thankfully the weather held out and Saturday was a beautiful day. Maybe a little more cloudy than I was hoping for but that added to the beauty! Stacy and Sean chose the North Shore for their session and I was so excited...although I forgot that the North shore is a happening place now so we had to work around people as well as lots of boat traffic.

The North Shore and Downtown Pittsburgh provided such a beautiful backdrop for this adorable couple. Their flexibility helped make everything flow so smoothly and I can't wait to photograph them again next month along with baby V!!
