Mellon Park Family Session - Pittsburgh

Wow does it feel nice to finally be outside running around with families again! After the Fall season and the business that comes with it I am always excited for studio sessions and in-home sessions but by the time March hits I am ready to be outdoors again!

Not sure if it is just me but May completely snuck up on me this year! Just a week into the month and it has been busy with so many newborns but I was excited to meet the family from last nights session at Mellon Park for some beautiful family photos! Mimaw (not sure how to spell that haha) and Papa were along for the ride and as always, Mellon Park did not disappoint!

There were so many laughs throughout the evening. Some just prompted by the family having a good time with each other and others by my requests for them to do different things. I mentioned at one point that I would be laughing as I started editing and that was absolutely true!

For a family session I usually shoot around 800-1,000 images and I somehow get that down to a reasonable gallery but it definitely takes time. With a session so fun I had to make sure to get a sneak peek out so here are some favorites from their session!
