Parenting Made Easy(er)!

Being a mom means constantly having some sort of snack ready to go at all times and providing endless amounts of entertainment!

While my family and I are big fans of the Zoo, museums, the trampoline park and endless walks through the neighborhood, the fact is that sometimes I feel completely out of ideas!! While scrolling through my social media feed during some down time (which is rare) I came across Pittsburgh Moms Network and was intrigued. As a small business owner I am always looking for ways to connect with other moms because lets be honest, moms are the main people that book with me! What I found was a wealth of information on not only things to do with my kids but snacks, dinner ideas and so much more!

If I am being honest, by nature I am a shy person and really have to push myself to get out of my comfort zone but I knew there had to be a way to get my small business and Pittsburgh Moms Network to be able to work together. I sent a note to MJ and we set up a time to chat to see how we could work together. I quickly found another mom that is going through the same season of life as me and and she will tell you, the mom that is always behind the camera and never in front of it with her kiddos! This was the perfect opportunity to get some fresh images of her kids but more importantly, some with her actually in them!

During our conversation she mentioned that her kids weren't the most fond getting their pictures taken. That is true of most kids and I reassured MJ of this. We did their session on a beautifully sunny day in Robin Hill Park. We spent about a half an hour running around to different areas of the park and getting the kids to interact in different ways. Are all of these "picture perfect" images? No, but that is what makes them great! It is real life and that is when you have the most beautiful memories. Plus, isn't it fun to look back on little quirky faces your kids make when they are being silly or maybe even mad about something? They don't stay little for long so capture those memories while you can!

If you are interested to freezing time for a moment and making memories with your family, reach out and contact me to set up a session date! If you are looking for ways to make your life a little more simple, start following Pittsburgh Moms Network on social media or check out their website for great parenting ideas!
