Studio Maternity Session - Pittsburgh

Maternity sessions are a beautiful way to capture those last weeks before you welcome your little one and your life changes in the best possible way!

Studio maternity session are a great option for these cold winter months. When my family from last weekend said they weren't fans of the cold and would prefer their session indoors I was more than thrilled. Not only do I love the studio space they used but it also meant that we could be warm! It just so happened to be on one of the coldest days of the winter so far so it truly was the best option.

This sweet couple will be welcoming a little girl in just over a month and it was truly great to meet them now before their newborn session once the baby arrives. I attribute it to an engagement session before a wedding. It gives you all a chance to get to know each other before the big day!

Since we had an hour to work with I suggested that we had time fora change of clothes. Mama-to-be had a beautiful floral gown for Baltic Born to start (one of my favorites for a dress for any occasion!) that just gave such a beautiful editorial feel to the session. Later she changed into a more casual white dress from Amazon (always a great option when looking for an inexpensive option). Both options worked so well in the space and I truly loved so many shots from this session.
