Wide Awake In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Session - Pittsburgh

In-home lifestyle newborn sessions are especially great in these cold winter months. Nobody is wanting to leave their homes with a brand new baby so what better way to capture the newest member of your family than to have me come to you and catch the sweet interactions between you and your family. Oh, and you might as well add the wrapped images like this adorable family did!

2023 had some of the most wide awake babies I have ever encountered. Absolutely nothing wrong with that and truly you can get some amazing eye contact with these sessions. While this session was my first of 2024 this cutie was a 2023 baby and 100% followed suite!

Gummy bears were on hand to help incentives big sister for some of the beautiful images you will see below and I am here for it. Anything to help get the shot! The key to this session was lots of mini breaks for both baby and big sister but that is what these sessions are all about. Feeling the natural flow of the family and working with that.

We eventually did get the little guy to fall asleep...about 20 minutes into the wrapped portion of their session. And if you are not familiar with how my sessions flow we start with the lifestyle family images and then move into wrapped so yes, he was awake and alert for the first 1.5+ hours of the session!
