Winter First Birthday Session - Pittsburgh Studio

It's that time of year where the busyness and magic of the holidays has past and the colder winter days start to set in. It is always wonderful to have something to look forward to and a first birthday session is just the thing!

I know how tricky winter first birthday's can be (I have a February baby). Usually too cold to be outdoors especially for a cake smash so that leaves either an in-home session or studio. Either way you can't go wrong.

I met this family last year when they welcomed their third little guy. Their newborn session took place at the Urban Loft studio so it was fitting to have his first birthday session at the newest studio; Allure Loft. The versatility of this new studio let us easily combine a quick family session that included solo shots of each kiddo and also a cake smash for the birthday boy!

As you can imagine, with three boys under five there was A LOT of movement but we were able to get some amazing shots during this session and I am excited to share a few with you here.
